Show and Go Rides Weekend of 10/15-16

Given the uncertainty about the wind speed on Saturday and rain on Sunday, we'll decide where to ride to based on who shows up at Panera Bread at 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday. Tentatively, we're considering a ride to Bluffington's on Saturday and from Panera to Panera on Sunday. If the weather is favorable and the group is in the mood, we can certainly decide to go farther and could consider a Cuba Road or Barrington Hills ride. Meet us at Panera and cast your vote.

If Heidi decides to go ahead with her architectural ride on Saturday in the high winds, joining that ride may be a good option. Check the EBC rides list serv page for more information. (A link to the EBC site is in the right hand column of this page)

Felix is going to lead a Panera to Panera ride at 10:00 am today (Sunday)

The goal of this blog is to encourage riders to join our Saturday, Sunday and Holiday bicycle rides. We leave from Panera Bread in Wilmette at either 7:00 or 8:00 am, weather permitting (8:00 during late Fall and early Spring, and 9:00 on cold winter days). Like all Evanston Bike Club rides, the mid ride stop for food and good conversation is an important aspect of the experience. However, our group goes a bit faster than a typical EBC ride. Mostly, we ride 20-25 mph in a pace line, with occasional sprints. Come join one of our rides!
